Freaking IPD - again

I'm in for this one being a manufacturing defect. This is not a new design, given that this is a '01 C70. I installed IPD bars on my '99 xc70 ages ago.

While it was a pain in the ass to install the front one (shade-tree mechanic with a jack), once in, they fit great and I had no odd clunks or other odd issues.

I feel like the bars are IPD's bread and butter, and if there's an issue, they'll make it right.

Well don't forget this is the bars with the 3" downpipe upgrade so it's slightly more complicated. And the exhaust didn't fit properly either so I can't say this is an unusual experience. :e-shrug:

I'm willing to bet having to drop the subframe with a jack in the drive was a headache.
