Hey, whats up guys! Back in November of 2014 I picked up a 1967 122, 2 door automatic. Ive wanted one of these for awhile and was stoked when i got it, for a lowwwwwww price too.
But you get what you pay for, for the most part. So while the engine and tranny are getting ready to be rebuilt, i decided to finally make a build thread.
Here's some pics:

Under the hood. Not very pretty:

Replaced motor mounts and driveshaft bearing barrier:

All the rust is just surface, being a California car. I will go over it with some POR or whatever:

Another stroke of luck, my local Volvo mechanic was gunna throw these up on Craigslist literally the same day i first went to see him:
<a href="http://s658.photobucket.com/user/wtarkington/media/088.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i658.photobucket.com/albums/uu302/wtarkington/088.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 088.jpg"/></a>

Coker Classics 165/R/15 tires thrown on:
<a href="http://s658.photobucket.com/user/wtarkington/media/091.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i658.photobucket.com/albums/uu302/wtarkington/091.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 091.jpg"/></a>
What ive done/had done:
New motor mounts and driveshaft bearing/barrier
had front suspension redone, including new shocks
new tires
converted to electronic ignition, plus new coil, wires, spark plugs ect
new battery
all new, unused reupholstered seats
Cant think of anything else at the moment. The brakes are very good(according to my mech).
What I want to do/get done:
Im using rebuilt SU's, but i have a Weber 32/36 DGEV ready to install, but it doesnt work with my header. Wouldnt mind getting a new one anyway.
Finish suspension work, with at least a 2" drop.
complete reupholster the interior(headliner, carpet ect)
Eventually new wheels(same style tho, with the trim rings and tires)
Body work, but i like the patina of the car, so no paint for now.
In a couple of days me and my buddy are gunna pull out the engine and tranny. Im getting them rebuilt. I plan on using this as my daily driver, eventually.
Anyways, thanks Turbobricks!
