I got the dreaded brake failure light on my daughters 2004 xc70.
Plugging into my VIDA, I get
BCM-0074 hydraulic valves faulty signal
DDM-002B Mirror motor MC signal too low
PDM-0027 Mirror motor MY+ signal too low
CEM-6F71 Fuel hatch switch signal too low
PDM-0025 mirror motor signal missing
PDM-0030 rear view mirror potentiometer faulty signal
PDM-0032 rear view mirror potentiometer faulty signal
PDM- 0040 outside temperature sensor signal too high
UEM-0004 siren communication fault
UEM-0005 sunroof communication fault.
I?ve recently replaced a side mirror and the alarm siren with good used ones and never cleared those codes a few months ago.
As car was my elderly mothers and had sat indoors for over a year undriven, I replaced front calipers and front hoses and new pads/ rotors all around.
The brake failure code came on a few weeks ago when my daughter was driving. Told her to park it till I got home ( I?m military and home for a few days from a deployment before heading out again tomorrow) no other symptoms on the dash/ DIM. Odometer and all functions on dash work. When I pulled into the garage this morning, code is not showing ever though I have nor cleared any codes. Also while I had it he ignition in #2 position pulling codes, it sounded like a pump cycling on and off under the hood for a few minutes?the hydraulic pump?
I see Kyle had a similar fault and the xemodex repair appeared to sort it out?

Anyone have any additional advice?
Should I pull the module and send to xemodex and just roll the dice?
I assume the car is undriveable without the module installed?
