Oops! I was gonna say fuel system relay, I've had similar issues in the past.

Yup. Dug up a 1994 mustang wiring diagram and it looks like that's supposed to be a 20 amp fuel pump fuse. I don't know what the actual fuel pump is - I assume it's the 740 pump. That means there is a splice somewhere that's now 15 years old. Or it could be a crappy relay or tired pump drawing too many amps. Will have to wait till after Carlisle to fix that. For now, I'm happy I got home without a tow.
