I did recognize MikeP and met a few other Tbers. I looked for Jenn, but never saw her. I recognized DarkSides' brick parked in the camping area.
The Beaner and another laid-back TBer (forget his name) changed out my very old and cracked FPR vacuum hose for a new one. Awesomeness is the word for The Beaner for gifting me the hose
I'm going to try and stop by again, today.

I was considering the Lancaster County covered bridges tour, but I think I'm running too far behind schedule today to make the start time.

If you're talking about the Black Wagon, I saw you driving away from the Fairgrounds on Saturday evening. I was in a Blue C30 and I waved, don't think you saw me waving lol

I saw the black beauty driving through the fair grounds Saturday evening. We didn't speak, but I remember the car and the face behind the wheel so next year I'll have to say hello

I'm bummed I didn't get to meet MikeP, or if I did I can't remember it. I did get to meet a bunch of people though! Jen finally, Maurice, WisTurbo (Man I can't remember your name right now I wanna say Chris or Sean, but I just got back from the 10 hour drive home and I'm dead tired) and a bunch of other cool people. The Volvo's at Carlisle folks were great too! I was surprised how chill all of the VS/S people were, had a blast drinking with them all. It was a little disappointing that the TurboBricks tent was pretty much vacant the entire time. I had a blast there though and I'm excited to make it next year. Hopefully we can get some fun stuff going on in the TB tent also!

Tried to go MaineDrunkYards but my buddy Angelo managed to get there before me - I finally got to try Yuengling & I must say I approve! Angelo thought his Volvo might like to try one


I was pretty surprised with the drive through beer service in PA. After the Saturday night shenanigans (thanks for the ride in the 240 btw, very fun!) We camped in the back of the 945 and hit up waffle house in the A.M. - Didn't seem like there was much going on Sunday so we left around noon and went to Myerstown PA to hit up a JunkYard in true TB fashion. We each managed to find something we had been looking for too!


This yard was huge!


After that we chased around Amish buggies for a while through the farm land. Once we came to the conclusion we would never find the mafia we set out towards home and stopped at Haags in Shartlesville (Shart, yeah I'm real mature).
Food was great! We were the only diners, and it was cheap & plentiful!


The weeked was a great success! No one got hurt, I only spent about $250 on the entire trip, met a dozen or so Turbobrickers I've conversed with on the forum, and I got to try the beer I've been hoping to find for the last two years. Next year hopefully my car will be running and I'll be in the show! The 10 hour drive is a little much, but I look forward to it being in a convoy, that can be pretty entertaining.

Yeah, when I left I couldn't resist driving though the show area even though I was parked right by the access road.

If this is directed at me, I did do a drive thru the Volvo area when I arrived late afternoon scouting things out, then parked and ran to get my goodies bag for the event schedule.
I'm sorry I ran off right away.

I'll be more organized next year, now that I know the drill.
Carlisle was my first experience at a Car Show ever. And, I had a great time!
