Default 14" wheels on 1990 740

I came across a dandy deal for a set of Enkei Panasport style wheels in 5x108, but they're 14".

The car they're intended for is a 1990 740GL, no abs. From my initial searching it sounds like they should fit, but I can't go test fitting in this guys drive-way, so can anyone say for certain that they'll work (even if they're not the ideal size)?

IIRC 90+ 740s need 15's to clear the front brakes.

Check your front rotors. If they look like this you have the big rotors and won't fit 14's

If they look like this you have the small rotor and 14's will fit

All 7/9 cars fits 14's in the rear.

Did that car have ABS? Was it a turbo model?

I put 14" steel wheels on my 940 turbo and they fit fine. I had to remove the caliper and bracket, but after that they fit like a gem.

Yeah who needs calipers anyway, they're heavy too!
