Wheels width (945) without body modifications.

I have 265/35/18's in the back of my 744 which should be the same as a 945. On my 945 I did test fit 255/x/17's that seemed to fit. Fronts I am running 235/40/18's. Both front and rear have the fender lip trimmed or rolled. the 945 runs 235's all around for daily use.

And remember each tire brand and model run different sizes. I have seen 265's of some brands run right in the 265 range while others are closer to the 275 range. Federal tires typically run 5-10mm larger than spec.

So probably 265/35/18 in the rear and 235/40/18 should fit without touching anything on 945?

Yeah, I know, thats why I am asking. @thelostartof
Front is 18x7.5 et35 with 20mil spacer so et15
Rear is 18x8.5 et40 with 15mil spacer so et25

That is from my notes on my wheels. Those sizes will be a tight fit that might require a little rolling of the fenders but should clear depending on how low you go.

It also depends on tire size you want. My sizes are 25.4" front and 25.3 rear.

If you went with 17s you could run 225/45/17 front and then 255/40/17 rear for matching 25" tall tires.

Without mods, WITH spacers like you said and offset like you said. Am I right?

The 17s I am willing to bet fit without mods. (Sounds like what GSWagon said) But you will need to pay attention to the wheel offset and spacers if needed. My 744 that I gave you those numbers off has longer studs so I can run almost any size spacer. Most adapters/spacers people here run are 25mm or 32mm.

Find a good site with a wheel offset calc that you like and you can put in my specs and stock specs to see how they compare along with what size and offset wheel and tire you want to run. I have spent an unreasonable amount of time on those calcs over all of my cars figuring out what will work best.

There might even be a wheel / tire offset thread here someplace where people posted all of the stuff that fits so a few hours searching here might yield some older info and results from others.

Is it worth to put an adapter for 114,3 bolt pattern? Ive heard that this pattern is most popular. Am I right?

For me thats Japanes bolt pattern but as I read now bunch of US cars use it as well, if you are planning on running some OG jap wheels thats what you should expect for Work Rays Enkei whatever.... here is the link for bolt pattern , second one is for visualization of offset etc... https://tirewheelguide.com/pcd/5x114.3/ https://www.willtheyfit.com

Thank you for a lot of inspirations in this thread. Still I need an answer from @thelostartof about his 744. If he fitted 265 and something around 235 in the front wothout mods, then I will be able to fit them in my 940.

A lot of it depends on your ride height and suspension setup. I cut to fit 225/50r16s in the front with coilovers. You will never really know what fits on your car until you measure.

Stock/near stock car height, thats for sure. But yeah, you are def correct. I am just looking for a people who fitted widest wheels rear and front without any mods (spacers, conversions and etc. are okay).

My car was/is lowered and I did have to roll the fender lips to fit with those offsets. When I overload the rear it can rub. 17s and the 225/255 might be a better combo if you want to avoid rolling fenders. I had 245s on 16s way back when that cleared without mods in the rear.

Thank you captain, gonna try 225/255 with 17" to still get some tyre thickness for xomfort
