Hey, I want to drop and clean all the gunk out of my gas tank but I can't seem to pull the return line off of the sender. When I push back the rubber hose it reveals another sort of nylon hose underneath. Someone suggested pouring boiling water onto it or maybe even cutting it and replacing it. I've looked on YouTube it seems like the gasoline tanks have hoses that just slip right off. Anyone got advice on what I should do, figured I'd ask so I don't damage anything for no reason.

There is a fitting at the other end of that hose under the car. Disconnect it there.

That makes a lot more sense, I damaged the outside of the hose pulling at it but I doubt that'll cause issues. Could you try reattaching the photo you send because I can't see it.

The picture doesn't appear because certain browsers won't display images that aren't hosted on a secure site. Chrome won't display them but Firefox will.

Oh my bad new to this forum thanks for letting me know. Appreciate the help I'll go under the car and just remove it from the fitting saved me a lot of time my friend.

It's my bad for not having my pics on a secure site and has nothing to do with the forum.

You'll need a 14mm and 15mm wrench to disconnect the hose. They can be really tight so arrange the wrenches so you can squeeze them together for best leverage.
