Rare Volvo parts that you have!

I have a dished flywheel for Regina. Those seem to be pretty rare.

I thought I posted this here but I guess I didn't.

Adjustable intermittent wiper option for 240's

this brings me great pain to ask, cAn you please provide a part number or sell me this one?
I think it's stupid because 3 settings are enough for me but my GF wants more options on her 244. It never rains here but her life wont be complete until she has one of these....

I don't know the Volvo part number for the assembly. The cable is p/n 1214243, the controller is Hella 5WA001871-16. I'm not really interested in selling it for a reasonable price though. The 78 242 only has 1 intermittent speed, and we do get a decent amount of rain.

The part number is 282880. Unfortunately it only fits early cars that don't have an intermittent relay so you may want to sell it to Jack.

Dave Barton sells a relay for the later cars that replaces the stock one that allows you to adjust the delay.

I don't see how the adjustable relay would adjust very well while you are driving in the rain. You still just have one speed, the only advantage is you can pick the speed, but you have to do that before you know what speed you actually want. Maybe I'm wrong about that, but pretty sure that is the way it works.

Jack, if you want to talk about it, PM me. I'm not convinced that I can't make it work yet though, just that I can't add it as an option without wiring changes.

Mine is mounted on a switch blank. Its used, so I guess the PO did that rather than drill through the console. I kind of like the switch blank idea better.

It can work on 1978-93 cars. The intermittent relay remains in place, but does not get used. Instead, you leave the wiper switch off and turn the knob to the desired setting. @swedishiron.com had one in his '79. Was mounted in the lower column trim.
