Update 28/02/2024
Added rear power windows. No pictures here .. not really interesting.
Intercooler (IC) Water Misting System DIY & Washer Tank Relocation. This seemed to be a good idea since in Greece temperatures are generally high, so a misting system...
My build is 8V, it is bored out yes, but any 8V head fits without boring anyway.
The video is not mine, but in the comments he mentions that no boring is needed as well. But why is a problem to have the valves close to the cylinder wall ? IMO the combustion chamber should not overhang the bore...
If you use a turbo you can do nice things power wise with this engine.
The 16V head fits on the B21. Check this out
Also 530 and 531 heads fit on it.
You can make good power on 8V as well (check my thread - heavily modified). My initial setup was KJet + Stock B21 and made 166whp with the...

Update 17/11/2023 (a bit delayed)
Replaced fuel lines with PTFE: As mentioned in post #133 all the fuel lines had to be replaced because the AN hoses failed badly. The new ones were ordered from NUKE, as well as new hose ends since the PTFE hoses are not...
Unfortunately this was done a long time ago and my memory doesn't serve ! However i know that the clutch fork almost touched the M90's hole end that the fork comes through. I thought of doing that due to the fact that i wanted to be safe, but as it looks i was marginally there. I had also tried...
Thanks!! Maybe they sold it officially as a kit (MC+slave combo) ? It could be easy to mix them up if the casting number is the same. It reminds me the oil pump high/standard gears confusion.
Anyway, do you have the part number for the even smaller one 19,05mm and for the one with 22,50mm ?
Ah, ok. I have put 2 washers under the pivot ball so that the clutch fork came further backwards. This means that it pushes the slave cylinder's pin further "inside" the slave cylinder because it comes closer to it. What does that mean ? It means that i have more slave cylinder travel to use in...
Ah, and i thought i made a mess ..
My current MC (if you check out the pic i posted above) has actually a stop on both ends so there is nothing it can be done for it, unless i take it apart and trim its bottom end stop, so that the rod goes further inside the cylinder. Either that or get...
So answering to Mikep:
Let's see. For 1/2 bore master of the slave:
Fm=(Am/As)*Fs= ((pi*(1/2*rs)^2)/(pi*rs^2))*Fs=Fs/4
So yes it becomes 4 times smaller not 2. You are correct, my mistake, forgot the square, its difficult to write math as text ..
I am sorry, I somehow managed to delete Mikep's answer which was correct ! How did i do that ?? I thought i was correcting my answer. Anyway he wrote:
"Half diameter does not equal half area."
I am trying to increase pedal travel at the same time time as the bearing's. I am looking for a master cylinder that will have more travel by at least 3mm compared to the the 25mm i got now, which will translate into 2mm more at the slave. The other 2 choices (that i believe make pedal softer)...
