S/V/C Bought a filthy XC70. What to clean it with?

It do be like that for the trucks in that yard! Lol. That section is probably 5 times busier than the import area. Makes me glad I’m not a truck bro.

S/V/C Bought a filthy XC70. What to clean it with?

Yeah. I have one yard in town and they only have 3-5 total Volvos at any time. Pretty small yard, but I like it. Cleaner and more organized than most. I was out there on Saturday to grab the power steering hose and resevoir. I should've grabbed the waffle mats then, but I didn't want to carry...

S/V/C Bought a filthy XC70. What to clean it with?

Probably so, but I started tonight. Made something called "Serrano Sauce" from the internet which is 20 to 1 Super Clean degreaser with about 8 drops of dawn dish soap. Seems to work well. Wish it was a little stronger but I'm afraid of putting too much degreaser into the plastics. I finished...

S/V/C Bought a filthy XC70. What to clean it with?

I have some generic purple degreaser on hand. I'm just worried it will kill the plastics or something. Guess I could start in the backseat and see how it goes....

S/V/C Bought a filthy XC70. What to clean it with?

I scored an 05 XC70 that is in remarkably good shape. I think that it was a one-owner car and they took great care of it until 150-160k miles. Then they traded it in and the guy that bought it did some kind of trade work and drove it back and forth to work and didn't do ANY maintenance it seems...

Is there still access to the old webpage with the Articles section?

Not specifically. I was trying to post a link to the ubiquitous +T stuff. Literally some whippersnapper on facebook was asking for “how do I +T”

How much to shave head in Texas?

So, uh.... Anyone want to throw out a number there? I'd like to go to 40 thou, but not if it makes it less reliable in the heat....

How much to shave head in Texas?

I might have a B in a parts car already, but haven't looked in it to see if its in usable shape. Car had the distributor pulled and left open for years. If that isn't usable I would probably look for a K or VX whatever comes along first. Heard...

How much to shave head in Texas?

No. I have yet to locate a better stock cam, but I'll get a cam before the head gets shaved. Probably make sure my guides and seals are good, and a basic valve seat cleanup. Probably won't do any porting or polishing or anything.

How much to shave head in Texas?

I will be shaving the head on my daily. I already have a 960 efan and shroud. Currently M cam, but will be getting probably a B cam soonish. M47, and car will be staying NA. Living in Texas, and wanting the AC to work, what would you say is the safest max amount you could shave from the head...

    Head Work for Fuel Economy?

Thats unproven as far as I know. The only thing that is a definite is that modern 4-hole injectors idle much smoother than the older pintle style injector. I put some Yellow injectors out of a 960 in my 240, but have yet to make it run with them. Have to finish the microsquirt stuff.
