Did you figure this out? The Mustang shifter doesn't bolt to the camaro tail housing, they are different flanges. The mustang lever is what you want though. What I did was to drill out the rivets holding the lever to the base, and attach the mustang lever and ball joint assembly to the base of the camero shifter. I just used JB-weld (go tbricks!), which held fine. This enabled me to use the mustang shift lever on the camaro tail housing.
