I am leaning toward building my own. I have a feeling that buying one from someone will not be the best performing one. I have the car off the road currently so that will not be a problem

Hey, if you have the skills to make your own and are able to have your car off the road for a week of design and fabrication and test fitting then there's no reason you shouldn't make your own. The materials will run you around $200. If you're not up to making it on your own, the user Captain Bondo on here makes sweet headers and sells them pretty cheap, like $550 or $600 I forget.
