My IPD cam work very well retarded 2 deg. It have a good low end torque, and pulls srtong from 4200 to 6500+ RPM.

But if you're searching for a hi torquey cam, have a look at the KG2T cam... It'll be my next cam also!

And I've meet this week end HansW and tried his car...It's running with a 531 head and the "V"cam straight up, and it run well also.

If you're interrestsd, I've a "V" cam for sale...

Hi Roy,
once, I talked about the M-Cam in the 531 head. This experiment is closed now.
I think, I think the only way to go is with the v cam about 4 degrees advance but not more. Otherwise the exhaust valve will close for TDC...so reversion is to big maybe.
The V-cam is not balanced with the 531 head. With the 530 head it pulls better at low end.
Advancing or retarding it makes no gains at all (I think) because i drove it with different settings...but It I did not meet a good result.
I do not no exactly, but I think its not bad having an overlap of about 20 degrees (with 020" open valve)
so I will look for a pretty strong cam!
