I have an oil filter relocator off a 940 turbo. The thermostat housing is stamped 95C (203 F). Im thinking i may use that with an 87C (189 F) engine coolant thermostat.
Would 195 for both with on-time oil changes be ok (for street use). From my z4 experience engine temperature is going to be whatever the lower thermostat setting is.
I swear I searched the board before posting. I found a lot of overheat and sending unit issues

I have a 1972 142E. It has a final drive gear ratio of 4.10:1. But i havent been able to determine if it?s limited slip. The part number on the tag says: 255802. I assume the part number is the only way to look it up. Google turned up nothing

anybody have info on the above linked pv suspension? it looks like it uses the OEM crossmember and A-arms. What coilovers are those and any details on that top bracket for the coilover? id also like to know what spindles, rotors, and calipers would work in this setup
