Theres an ebay link from the same supplier that says it covers the later models= “Power Steering Rack & Pinion 1979-1993 Volvo 240 260 Series with Cam 3”
Welp from my phone i cant make the image small enough. Dont matter though, label is too scratched up to read. Just go to a real auto paint shop like Tasco or english color with a good piece to scan or lay swatches next to. Its easy to shine up an old oil pan or b20 Breather box.
Acrylic enamel...
I have a can of nasson enamel that was color matched to a polished b230 oil pan. I sprayed a b20 block with it. Ill see what the paint code is when i get home tonight
I posted another ac question didnt figure out much hopefully someones experienced this before.
Compressor still runs constantly at idle. Car is about 45 degrees at the vents at idle. I have the low pressure switch set where it cuts off around 23psi. So reving up to 1500 lp drops and it cuts...
Helpful but wild it doesnt even say what the ambieny temp is for their readings.
After putting on the “factory” low temp switch im at 35 and 200. Lost alot of freon with that cheap plastic switch.
I think for 90 degrees ambient temp im low on both sides so i can fill
Ok update:
I am now running the $17 amazon lp switch. Nice cuase its adjustable but still waiting on the right thing from fcp euro. I have it set were it clicks off around 23 psi like the dave barton bible says it does factory. Now my compressor clicks off as soon as i hit 1500 rpm but i still...
Rubber everywhere is not difficult and nice for a dd. U can rent the tool at a parts store or buy a shit one at fright harbor for $60. The one that looks like a giant c clamp. Did the whole rear with a coworkers snap on set last weekend.
I rebuilt my zf last fall with the vp rebuild kit. I posted some crappy pictures/ made a post here of the rebuild. Yes u will def need to borrow those tools. I had to weld some junk together for that big tube nut. I think all in all with new tie rods i spent $200
the one in with the fan relay? I added that awhile back because according to Dave barton that high pressure switch only affects the fan coming on. that switch wouldn't never ground out so I added a ground wire since no one sells that switch anymore.
I disconnected my ground like u said tho...
here's the vintage air trinary switch wiring. I know its not causing the compressor to be constant on because when I was low freon it would only run for 2 seconds at a time. mostly stayed off.
its that time of year should be plenty of a/c posts I see none
that mast post is great but it only recommends components. doesn't give diagnosis.
I have a 1992 na 240. put tcp 4 seasons compressor, crossflow condenser, new drier and variable oriface tube last year. paid some really low tier...
reassembly. I forgot tie rod install picks. ur inner tie rods will need a very thin 27-32mm wrench depending on brand. my new were diff than old. buy a thin wrench set.
u need all this plus thin wrench set and a welder if u have to make up that housing bung nut tool on the spot.
ready for...
