REAR TRAIL ARM BUSHING - REAR

Thanks, that's good to know, i figured the bit of scratching didn't hurt anything, just wasn't sure if I did something wrong. But yes they're in there now and working great, good tip about putting in the freezer though, should have tried that. Hopefully I won't ever have to pull these out, just...

REAR TRAIL ARM BUSHING - REAR

Yeah don’t know how you would install new bushings without the tool. I just replaced mine a couple weeks ago, was prepped for worst case scenarios, but with the tool I bought from Gregerivn worked really well and it came out easy. I think a big part of that was minimal rust on this NW car. Also...

Definitely, I’ll give it a shot (and let me know what you want for it)

I’ll look into that, the previous owner had the ipd sways added, I just measured them and it’s the 25 front, 22 back version. I might keep my eye out for a stock or smaller rear sway bar. In that video I highlighted some of the slides for entertainment value, a majority I didn’t get as squirley...

Currently running, IPD wagon lowering springs, B6 bilsteins front & back, IPD swaybars front and back, not sure on the size of those. (Also have front lower chassis braces and upper strut to firewall brace). Figured this was the cheap option until I could afford coilovers.

Mainly for entertainment value, I edited together a few clips of my different runs into one run, plenty of sliding and I nailed a cone. (thanks 2manyturbos for the extra footage)

You both are faster than me, but I had a lot of fun at the last autox that 2manyturbos was at (thanks for the pointers). I was sliding a lot, probably not great for time, but trying to find that balance. Thinking some new 200tw tires will only help, might put them on before the next event. I’ll...

Hoodoo course looks fun, might have to try and make it up there someday.

    LH2.4 ECU mounting with footwell vents | '81 244

Planning to add a passenger footwell vent and moving the ECU to the glovebox, as long as it wouldn’t get too hot in the glovebox. Curious to see where others have them.

Wow, that’s a fast run, cool to see how they setup Saturday, it looked way more technical than Sunday.

Managed to get out to autox on Sunday at the evergreen aviation & space museum parking lot. I wasn’t dead last this time, ended up only a tenth behind an Audi R8 (he was probably having an off day). Anyway best run, sorry for the crappy sound, learned I need to sock the mic in the wind.

post a pic of your engine bay

It was a pretty quick process too maybe took an hour and half start to finish (most of that was masking). I lightly steel brushed the manifold to get any big chunks off and wiped down with brake cleaner, let dry. Applied the first light coat of paint, dried in like 5 mins, applied a second light...

post a pic of your engine bay

While waiting on some brake parts I decided to try the Slip Plate graphite "paint and buff" method on the exhaust manifold. It worked better than I expected, much better than the before rusty look. I was also lazy and didn't take off the manifold, so heavy masking for the spray paint, but...

Manual swap, LH 2.0 flywheel compatibility?

I see what you’re saying, that makes sense.

Manual swap, LH 2.0 flywheel compatibility?

I’m slowly gathering parts for swapping my AW70 to an early M46 (76-78). Of the 2 or 3 flywheels for manuals, are they all compatible with LH 2.0 management? Also I assume the flywheel/flexplate that is currently on my AW70 won’t work on a manual? Trying to confirm what flywheels I should be...

    Random knock at 60+ mph

I don’t have the preheat thermostat flap filter box thing, it’s was removed by previous owner, and no tube to the exhaust manifold. Only running 93 octane, and it’s cold outside currently about 45 - 50 degrees, and the noise just started a couple weeks ago on a rainy day, but same problem on dry...

    Random knock at 60+ mph

Noob here: I have a 1984 Volvo 245 b23f automatic, with 235k miles so far. In the last month while driving on the freeway at 60+, I would get a random knock which sounds like it's coming from the upper drivers side firewall right behind the dash. It sounds like if you ran over a rock and it...
