Hey folks, recently got an ‘87 240 wagon, and the rear seat isn’t wanting to fold down.
At first I thought it was solely an issue of the latch. So I took it apart and there are some plastic pieces that came off, things not properly in place. Gonna have to figure out reassembly eventually, but when I went to pull on the wires (the plastic sheath), the seat still wouldn’t fold down. Seems to be seized at actual lock mechanism by the seatbelt.
Any advice? It’s not urgent that I fix the latch, but I do wanna get the rear seats down as I use the car for work. Will also take any advice on fixing the latch.
