122s - Heater Box (parts needed)

YES- I spent a good chunk of time looking at your site again, and making notes of that project and what I saw there- making screen saves, notes, etc. And I saw those grommets on the heater box too. (+)

That now looks like a pretty valuable 122s. I was just trying to imagine how much fun it would be to own such a car. It's inspiring.

- Respectfully, I don't want to suck up your time asking questions, but were those engine cylinders sleeved? I was imagining that there may be a greater accuracy/precision in honing a sleeve than the cast iron block cylinder wall (?).

I'm happy to answer any questions. I wnder, though, if this tangent belongs in a new thread. ?

The block was sonic tested to ensure that the cylinder walls were hick enough for the overbore. I sonic test all of them, even if they're just getting a 'regular" bore increase.
