Looked at an early 145 a couple weeks ago, went home and decided I wanted an Express. Googled it, clicked on it, called. The next day this was mine. Took a few weeks to find shipping from CO but its finally on the way. Engine was rebuilt in 2000 and its been sitting ever since abandoned by the owner and left at the mechanics house. It was a rally support car in CO.

Sweet find I got a good PS door for that if you can't find one locally.

Hey! That looks familiar!

Great find, congratulations. Amazing that it was sitting right there under our noses all that time. As far as I'm told by some pretty reputable Volvo sources, yours makes the 4th known Express in N. America. Three of them appear to be the full panel version, and one has all glass in the back. Maybe in 10 years when I have mine finished we can start a cross-country "Express Run", each leaving from their respective coast and meeting somewhere in the middle.

Can't wait to see yours progress.

Yours is a REAL part of Volvo history and has the cooler 73/74 front end.
