I wish you were my daddy jack

your comment was good :e-shrug:
That's a crappy description, they're great for tensioning brake and derailleur cables which is what I use it for, that and zip ties
Yes tensioning is the correct term. The best way to stretch cable is to ride and readjust.

If you want an easy way to tighten zip ties get a 4th hand bicycle tool:

get a room and ziptie away
I wish you were my daddy jack
if you promise not to call me that, bring me a set (desert meet) and I'll coat them for you in exchange. Also why dont you use wiper blades with a frame instead of the "modern" design ones. I never had any success with those on 240s

LONG delay because of fires/and like 2 weeks of 100-117F weather.

to give you an example

Yesterday I finally got my order of IAC hoses from volvo. I ordered another front seat back foam from VP. It showed up, correct label but it's for the 86+ models. (taller seat back).. and they're backordered

today I was ahead of my blaster so I ceramic coated some exhaust parts. v-series cobalt https://www.cerakote.com/shop/cerakote-coating/V-168/cobalt.
The air tube is powder coated

Man, that's beautiful.
thank you
how long does it last?
That looks so crazy dope
years and years. On my 850T the turbo hot side and manifold look brand new after 3 years
they loose a bit of shine as you use them

2/10 for not coating the valve cover
I cant decide on color/combo texture

I dint feel like cleaning up the casting marks on this car's intake but if I ever do that I'll cut out a heart somewhere on there ... like a signature of sorts .. IDK or maybe just add a heart after the "volvo" kind of gay I guess

this is Sydneys intake, more has been coated since and now valve cover matches the intake color

What, so you just sprayed on the cerakote and threw it in the oven?

And it looks THAT good?
cerakote v series

Cerakote V Series ceramic coatings are the unrivaled leader in high temperature thin film performance coatings, capable of temperatures up to 1800°F. V Series coatings provide unmatched high temperature performance, while providing excellent chemical resistance, durability and aesthetics. The foundation for Cerakote V Series coatings is a unique inorganic ceramic technology that imparts both high temperature performance and excellent physical stability. Due to the inorganic chemistry, V-Series coatings are UV Stable. For more information, see our Technical Data Sheet (TDS).

whatever this means

application

it's their ceramic coating specifically designed for high heat. yes you spray it on but the parts have to be clean. stuff stinks so bad so you have to wear a respirator. Places will charge you a lot because it takes a lot of shop/oven time and stuff aint cheap to begin with

Signatures are good. Every artist signs his/her own work in some unique fashion. Yours seems to be powdercoating every square inch so it looks better than factory -- and will stay that way a lot longer than factory -- marvelous! Myself, I tend to call attention to details because that's how I work, anyway. For example, anyone can assemble an engine and then shoot one coat of paint, but applying multiple colors (e.g. a bright red valve cover with shiny turquoise bolt heads), that's a statement. :)

I like the heart. It's not a unique symbol, but certainly an uncommon application of it.

my other cars had the Polish Airforce stickers on them... but I got kind of tired of it
I like the heart because it doesnt scream branding but I'll need to decide on the valve cover soon

I got the trans wiring in yesterday and today seating my ass off I got the driveshaft in

might be hard to see but the arrows on the driveshefts wont always match, especially if you're mixing them up. Important to orient them right

Those pie plate center caps would always rattle on me and my friends cars. We would RTV them into place to stop that crap. The car would drive by and you could hear ching, ching, ching inside and outside the car.

Good stuff. Wheels look fantastic as does the whole car. :zeeall:
