1982 Volvo 245 k jet no start

What did videos ever do to you?

Da Yoots won't really understand... you may or may not... but what the heck, I'll try.

Bottom line: I can absorb info 10x-20x faster by reading a well-written description, than I can by watching a video and hoping the creator will get to the point. Videos tend to range somewhere between frustrating and maddening, so I've given up on them.

My guess is that, and I should check this to confirm, the fuel pressure is fine between the distributor and injectors because it really does run flawlessly on start up and then trickles down into not running good.

Your symptoms speak to flow issues more than to pressure issues, but there's really no way to guess. Gotta measure.

I understand. That would make sense as well

I figure a mix of both might give people the best chances possible.

K-Jet is all about the fuel pressure, especially for any car that's been sitting for years. You can make your own tester, or borrow/rent one from a k-jet expert.

It’s always incredible the amount of information this website has and all really hard to find because there’s thousands and thousands of articles to sort through. I will definitely be making myself a little tester
