1984 field rat chewed up the orange wire - how does it get tied in?

1984 lh 2.0 orange wire got chewed. Looks like the engine harness connects here but the connector is gone

anyone have pictures how this should be?

Right but is it a connector that’s missing or just all spliced in

There's single terminal connector. You can kinda see it in this pic.
