My MAF sensor is bad on my beautiful low mile 1994 940 Turbo red block! I have ordered two so far and neither work well. One on Ebay $70.00 (Bosch) engine ran worse. Second one from Rock Auto (Delfi) $170.00 and it runs better but not like it should. There are several "out there" in the $450.00 range I haven't tried yet! My check engine codes are 121 and 322 which says bad MAF sensor. I have heard that these MAF sensors have to be exact! Can I send the original out somewhere to be rebuilt? Can't find one in a junk yard either. What do I do? Help!

I would look at your wiring, make sure that there are no breaks in the wire, and that the plug is making very good contact.

I have removed the sealed top (sealed with a black rtv material or it's just old?) and there is a very tiny wire that has corroded off and there is not a way I can repair it it's so microscopic. I'm really in a pickle!

Where are you located? If you upload a picture we could give you some ideas of how to fix it.
This. Pics are helpful!

If the issue lies in the wiring, your original MAF may not be bad at all.
If the MAF is indeed bad, you could call some local junkyards and get a good used unit for cheap.
Better yet, if you have any friends with the same car, borrow their MAF to see how your car reacts to it. I've done that a couple times when I've had issues on a 240.

Here are the pictures. I am from North Carolina.

My pictures are in the next thread I think? I had a hard time loading them. Thanks for any help you can give me in advance!

Check for spread terminals at the connector. Peel back the boot and make sure the wiring is not corroded. Do basic electrical testing.
