240 "easy" heater/blower box replacement ?

whats the easiest way to replace the heater box assembly on an 84 240, do you pull the entire dash or can you pull everything out by removing the center portion only ?

pull the dash, R&R the whole heater box in like 2 hours.

This. It is nearly impossible to replace the later system into the body with the dash in place. The curved inlet/outlet tubes of the evaporator require swinging the heater box into place to go through the slot in the firewall panel.

The easiest way is to have @AnthonyHardy2 come install it for you

thanks, I always take them out but never had to replace the entire thing
