240 front caliper rebuild

Probably not.
An old 85-87 240 parts manual says:

nevermind that caliper will be rebuilt better than whatever shit we do on our del taco hot sauce covered work bench full of lugnuts in coffee cans
For me its time. Yeah I could rebuild it, and probably to a higher standard (my workbench only has lawn trimmings and Franks red hot) but opening a box and popping them on has a ton of value for me.

What ever happened to money saved is money earned

I waste most of my time anyway

Your level of detail is way more than most people will ever aspire to. Also, talk to me about money saved when you've restored a 240 to a concours level of detail :ROFLMAO:

Lo and behold, these just showed up. These are for sure new castings. Actually very nice! Two different holes drilled for the cotter pins, seems like all the pots are lined up very well, nice hardware used. These look like a deal to me at 78/per (rears are like 60)

That's a no brainer. The time spent rebuilding a set of calipers could be put to much better use.

The only time I rebuilt calipers was on my Amazon when VP was out of stock.
