I know that there are superchargers being made for Vintage Volvos but I am interested in putting one on my '92 NA 240. Anyone have any clue if there is anyway to do this or any being prodeuced? I have looked and looked but found very little info. I know it's a strange way to go since the engine can so easily have a turbo put on but I would like to do something different. Any Help would be great. :-P

Alternatively, you can buy one that's pre-supercharged ...

A friend of mine in the Volvo Club of Vic has a '88 B230F 240 with a Toyota Supercharger on it.
P/S pump is mounted on the exhaust side.
A/C compressor is mounted where the P/S pump was, and the supercharger is mounted down below where the A/C compressor was.

It required some neat bracketry and miscellaneous ducting, etc that were sourced from a 740Turbo. He's using a Rising rate fuel pressure regulator and stock injectors and management.
Its a nice moderate increase in power even running 4 psi of boost, with some tweaking and better management, larger injectors, it could run a lot more boost.

with just a turbo ECU and turbo injectors you can run 10psi easy as blown240 had that on his car ... was pretty quick ..ran a 15.00 not bad for cheap as hell

Here's a pic of Greg's '88 240 B230F with supercharger.
Pics dont show the setup very well, but I'll dig some more up and post them.
