3D Printed Parts Thread

Working on an improved 5.25" speaker adapter/grille.
Might need someone with manual windows to test.

That looks very nice. Here is a scan I made, maybe that helps. Looks like the door card is a little different, mine protrudes above and below the speaker (1982 model), where yours looks flat below the speaker.

I've had the thought of modelling the HT-164 tweeter. Looks like a perfect candidate for 3d printing

I actually thought it was flat till I started working on this.
The backing plate is symmetric, with the angle you can see along the top edge on the bottom as well.

Polymaker (filament producer) is hosting a huge giveaway event on their site. If you use my referral link to sign up, which is free, I also get a few more entries. We only use Polymaker filament--it's great. Shameless plug: https://wn.nr/9xzL2bj

could anyone make a 3d printed version of the window crank armrests witha slot too add the electrical switches from an electric windows volvo 240... i got tired of not having a driver window so i threw away the motor and put a crank window in now i cant use the old arm rest because it gets in the way of the window crank :(

You need a driver window motor? Seems easier than designing a new arm rest.

I'd do it if someone would loan me a reference part.
Edit: I *thought* I bought one on eBay, I guess I got the 4" version. Does anyone have a part number?
I couldn't find a part number, but I did find is what I'm 99% sure is the speaker grill I was talking about on ebay.
I thought I had a pair, but it turns out that I have the ones that came on the rear hatshelf of sedans. It's the same speaker grill, but one of the sides is a bit shaved down to account for the curve of the hatshelf. The doorcard ones should be flat all the way around on the back, and that's what the one on ebay appears to be.

On P3 T6 engines, the PCV breather breaks off if you do any work removing the intake box, this leads to an intake leak. I have not yet designed a full replacement, but have created a cap to fix the intake leak. Hoping to design the full connector sometime this year.

Good for 2008-2013 Volvo that uses the 3.0 turbocharged engine.

Edit - You'll need to leave the PCV breather open or put an aftermarket "filter" on it. Do not cover it.
