And miss an EPIC cross country Volvo road trip? The trip there wouldn't be so bad, but driving back sure sounds like a long way.

Because the spike in gas prices is being driven by pure speculation, not underlying supply & demand, the price could drop to a believable level just as easily as it has risen lately. I wouldn't mind the speculators getting a haircut over this.

I've driven across the country twice and loved every second of it. If I can get some CT turbobrickers who wanna carpool I'd go. Split the gas 3 ways or so and it's not so bad at all.
