760 turbo not shifting @ WOT

hi this is my first post about fixing my 1990 760 turbo, i am having an issue with the trans not shifting at wide open throttle, it also only revs up to 4k rpm when in gear. As soon as i start to release the pedal then it shifts. i think both issues are related but then again this is my first red block and have lots to learn! what should i start checking?

awesome fixed the shifting!

Now what do i do about it cutting out at ~4k rpm? i have a dtc code from the diag port A2) code is 1-1-3, one site says its the injectors and another says its fuel trim...
