Hello. Hope I don't get in trouble for this. Made my first youtube video about my 780:
If there is a better place to post this please let me know. I am trying to get some eyes on my work.

Here are some details:
CD009 manual swap
Tenaci LSD
MK1.5 IRS
Full STRONGFLEX PU bushings
BCracing coilovers front
BNE Dynamics coilovers rear
BNE Dynamics roll center correction
CNC aluminum fuel hat made by me + DW200 fuel pump

Engine and interior are next :)

YOURE IN BIG TROUBLE MISTER, unless you've got a stockpile of 780 body panels for your drift missile
I have some spares... but it won't be a missle. No tandeming or anything too harsh. I can always re-body the drivetrain into a sedan.

Why would you get in trouble for posting Volvo content in the Volvo forum?
Also, what do you mean by MK1.5 IRS?
I am so glad you asked!

MK1.5 has a rear sway bar, it is a later iteration of MK1- which has no sway bar. MK2 has the silly transverse leaf spring as I am sure you know.
The top half of the subframe is a slightly different design. The accompanying lower lateral arms have holes drilled for the end links to mount to. Also, The differential housings that came with MK1 and MK1.5 seem to be different. The one I got with my MK1.5 subframe had a different bushing design and lacked a vent. Lastly, the flange that mates to the driveshaft was dished and stuck out further on the MK1.5. That being said, I used the diff housing from the MK1 subframe as the strongflex polyurethane bushing was made for that one.

Ah okay. I adapted the mk1.5 sway bar to mine with custom brackets and then drilled the lower arms where they were cast for it.
I also used the mk1.5 (960) diff because I wanted the lower ratio (3.31) and G80, but I regret using the housing because of that top bushing design. I'm going to do the BMW medium case diff swap that a few others have done, to get an even lower ratio, as well as I'm going to solid mount it to the sub frame.

Super interesting. You are not afraid of a little custom work I see. I am like the sheep going through the gate with no fence- OE/bolt on prioritized over 1 off work. Although these parts are rare enough and complicated to harvest the effort is the same as custom work. Any pics of your bracket job? Also please post the bmw medium diff swap when you make it happen. It is also something I considered years ago before tenaci made the torsen for this housing. I forget his name but the guy who is a pilot who built the v12 car also used a bmw diff I think. First I considered BMW swap, then they made the spline adapters for the solid axle torsen (I vaguely recall), and by the time I got around to it, the adapters were phased out and they straight up just had a diff for IRS.
