7xx/9xx 320mm P1 brake conversion

To install the 302mm I think you need brackets that IPD sells. What?s required to do the 320mm upgrade on a P80? Is it a direct bolt on? Following because I need to upgrade my brakes so this might be a nice route

Looks like you need the dvs adapter so looks very doable but need 16" wheels and I imagine not all wheels would clear.

Simpliest method: but W220 calipers 330 (345) mm, but 316 (330) mm Volvo brake discs, put 5 mm spacers and you done it.

I?m also thinking about 316mm brakes from p2 xc90, a bit smaller, but better accessibility and without need of enlarging the rotor center hole. Any thoughts? I think I?ll try to make something work.

I used stock P1 Brembo rotors, just the center hole must be turned to 65.1mm (same as on P80) and also longer brake lines were needed.

Any photos of this done? You’re referring to the aluminum 4-pistons from an s-class?? Thats a bolt on affair?

How does it like the factory 7/9 brake master cylinder bore?

So, you just need a parallel adapter to space out the caliper & get a machine shop to turn the centers. Does the caliper/pad orient correctly on the rotor surface with the bracket angled like that? At a glance it would appear that the pad would not sit evenly on the edge of the rotor. Any pics of that fitment.

After some bedding I can say the braking power is very good (y) Also tested 16" Hydra and Auriga wheels, both fit, but tight (same as my Perfos). If there would be interest, I can make more of these adapters.
