sad to see....even more sad of the new motor choice, it would be like opening a mustang hood to see a corvette motor....

for the record the amount of money spent to make 500whp power with a redbock, you could have a 600-700 whp RELIABLE 2jz thats buttery smooth.

Seems logical to me :e-shrug:

nathan got a hold of the CAD guy, talked to the machine shop, and just waiting on the drawing :)

OK, keep me in the loop, I have acutally done some horsetrading on some parts for a 1pc adapter!

Accurate Engines in Kirkland was absolutely fantastic for my motor, I think that is too far north for you though.

Not to far, if the work is good.

Welcome to turbobricks. Logic is not allowed here.

Thats almost quoteable!!!!

Have you looked into M and B? The owner there has a bad assed 2jz in an old ford model T I believe.

Our premire project. The 1930 Chevrolet coupe. This rock'n ride features a Toyota high compression 2JZ, and a Garrett GT35R ball bearing turbo which features a Tial stainless housing. The entire hot side is stainless and V banded top to bottom. The GT35 sits on a custom ETS stainless manifold. Boost is controlled by a tial 44 waste gate and tial Q BOV. The intake side has a custom ETS intercooler leading into a custom intake manifold. Engine management is no joke, a VIPEC V88, which uses MAP and 725cc Injector Dynamics custom injectors. With Meth injection to keep things quiet and spolling at 2500rpm, this new wave quick spoll, high compression combo is sure to make some noise. More to come.

3/8" rod bolts? Wasn't somebody saying that they are smaller than stock?

if it was a legitimate problem (which it's not, btw, see other measurements in that particular thread), I would have slung the ends off of mine a while ago. Which I haven't. 28psi+125 is going to exert a hell of a lot more force on stuff like that than just 28psi, and I turn mine all the way to 8.

Oh man, what did I miss? I spent my lunch doing a little tweek weldding and come back to deleted posts!

Kissin, I don't wanna know. My motor failed due to some machine work, and I'm moving forward!

Nathan, finally got a chance to offer my condolences. I know the next iteration of this car is going to be amazing, but it is sad to see all that hard work go up in smoke so quickly. Congrats on getting past it so easily though! Good luck with the 'yota motor!

2jz ordered, rods and pistons at the word go once I see if it needs an overbore or just a hone, looking at a 6266bb or a 6466bb turbo, ordered a divided header and have an intake gasket coming to start an intake. Once motor is payed for tomorrow, studs top and bottom will be ordered, along with new Toyota gasket set, 264 cams, kevlar belt and AEM v2.

Thankyou to all who have boughten my motor up.
