Please pick a different machine shop this time.

It won't be going to the shop that did the sleeves! I'm hoping for a std piston and just a rehone, possible line hone and dexk surfaces for the steel gasket freshened up.

I think you should be looking at the 74mm stuff. But, that's just me.

That's huge! Don't quite have the clutch to handle that power, but when the dp is built, ill make there be enough space so different turbos/adapters can be used. I still have access to the s374 I used to have, hehe

You should seriously start a new build thread for the new setup. Just to not get confused.

hate to hear this, sorry i'm late, but glad the car will live on and isn't being sold for a m3 or something. you can always yank the 2j in a few years and drop something else in, powerplants are not permanent

i decided a year ago that i'll skip the 16v mess and go strait to 2j land. it works, is easy, and has a higher ceiling than i think i'll ever want/need in a roadcar. glad you could save what you could and fund a swap with the parts. gl

Rest in pieces, 16VT.

Thanks John, I think thats what this thread needed! Maybe a mod can close this now before the Taps get bumped a page. The new build will be just as exciting, maybe not as many pages, but the 940 will live on! Besides....I have paid for a paint job already, and need to be able to drive it there, LOL
