Oh yeah sorry mate it’s a 95 940 se 2.3Sorry, don't know what you mean. Can you be a bit more specific on what car this is and what you are trying to do?
No it’s a air con model but I would like to put a non air con model intercooler in it so was wondering would it be a straight swapso you are trying to bypass the turbo intercooler? A 95 has the best the factory intercoolers got. Or you are trying to do?
Ahh perfect so the non air con intercooler isn’t going to move the radiator towards the engine?Ah, yes, it is a straight swap. the intercooler is supposed to be in a sandwhich behind the a/c condenser and before the radiator.
Perfect I just didn’t know if the brackets were different etcI think the only difference between AC and non-AC intercoolers is the location of the inlet and outlet pipes on the side tanks.
So if if I was to use a non a AC model radiator model and pipes I would be fine? No. The radiator is much wider on the AC model than the no-AC model, the pipes won't fit around the radiator. Additionally, the non-AC radiator sits where the AC radiator does and pushes the radiator back toward the engine.
Yes, and the fan and fan shroud, unless you trim down the AC model fan to fit, but there will not be very much clearance to the water pump (like 10mm or less)So if if I was to use a non a AC model radiator model and pipes I would be fine?
just because I can fin the intercooler a lot cheaper than the AC model one I know do88 do a kit but it’s like £700Yes, and the fan and fan shroud, unless you trim down the AC model fan to fit, but there will not be very much clearance to the water pump (like 10mm or less)
May I ask why you're wanting to convert to a worse setup than what the car came with?
Less cooling area for radiator and intercooler, worse flow.just because I can fin the intercooler a lot cheaper than the AC model one I know do88 do a kit but it’s like £700, was getting an alloy rad anyway so thought it would just be better
How come it’s worse?
Perfect I’ll order one of them then cheers mateGet the KL Intercooler then for a fraction of the do88 if you're just looking for a replacement.
About 2,800 SEK which works out as around 215 GBP.

Changing to a non-AC works with some modifications, but a lot of work.
I have the non-AC one since a few years and couldn't be happier with my purchase.
Do they sell that radiator too?Less cooling area for radiator and intercooler, worse flow.
As FA182 posted above, the KL intercooler is a direct replacement and a very nice upgrade for not a lot of money. I have one in my T6 760, I went to the AC style wide radiator at the same time.
If you have air conditioning you already have the larger radiator. Just get the correct A/C equipped intercooler from KL Racing and you'll be all set.Do they sell that radiator too?
Sweet cheers mate, one other thing I’ve got the 3” maf housing is there anything on the web about how to swap over the electronics? If you have air conditioning you already have the larger radiator. Just get the correct A/C equipped intercooler from KL Racing and you'll be all set.
