Found some basically new used winters for an amazing deal. My friends got some hydras I'm going to run. Yes, I'm going to drive it in the winter. Don't want to with the automatic trans though.

Relying solely on a auto 240s brakes in snow is a terrifying thought. I live in southern Ontario Canada and grew up driving these cars through heavy snow. Auto to me just feels like there is no control when things go wrong.Why no Auto? Because of snow?
My first Volvo, a 69 144 auto (unusual in the UK) was great in the snow with Vredstein snows in the hills of Scotland.
My guess is a tow truck driver put a hook or strap around the axle at some pointHow tf did those rear brake lines get crushed?
FWIW I just bought new caps from FCP for like $15 each if you decide you want solid capsHe didn't have the original caps.
