Anyone done smooth engine bay and deleting parts

I've seen panels that simply cover all the stuff around the strut towers, flat top and sides going down along the engine so the only exposed thing is the engine.
I've seen it done in 240s before but I don't have any pictures, here's an American muscle car example.

I know Tom did...it's a long build saga, I mean thread...but he's been there, done that, and his engine bay is so fresh and clean...it's infuriating...

Dudes will think this is cool but then complain about a Lexus that has plastic covers over everything

Early photos in the thread are broken, but MrBrown's 240 build has some good photos of a tucked and shaved engine bay:

I like to make things look neat and tidy but also accessible, especially on a regularly driven car. You can clean up quite a bit under the hood just by replacing all of the old wire looms, changing lengths of wires if needed, getting rid of everything that isn't being used if you've deleted ac etc, and "adjusting" stuff.. - rerouting wires, hiding them under areas where they cant be seen, but can be reached. I like using "heavy duty" velcro in certain situations to mount relays and such so I can tuck them away but pull them out easily to replace them. You can also use it on the backside of wire looms against areas where a zip tie won't work or you don't want to see a zip tie or clamp.
