Anyone done smooth engine bay and deleting parts

Where's the happy medium?
I'm pretty happy with how it is now. Lots of things cleaned up, but all easily accessible. Nothing inside the fenders, just more thought out wiring and component placement within the engine bay.

One of the best things I've done in a while was ditch the small hidden battery for a OEM battery setup again, which also offers places to discreetly mount relays and power distribution. I thought the no battery look was cool for a while; now I realize it was just dumb, even with an accessible remote charging post. There are lots of nice sealed relay holders out there now too (but even more shitty Amazon ones that everyone uses).

I like a cleaned up bay, but truly shaved and tucked to 2000s VW levels is for show/magazine cars that live their life being trailered to shows. It's just annoying to live with if you want to drive and maintain your car in the long term (10+ years on this project now).
