Anyone dropped a redbock into a 960/S90?

There’s almost no similarity between a 960 and a 940 as far as their electrical system and engine management harnesses are concerned.

Indeed, but AFAIK, the US-spec 940SE from YM91 and 92 was basically a 960 body with 960-type driver's side fuse box, etc, and and B230FT. They sold the 940SE in other markets as the 960 Turbo.

Pages 24 and 25 of of the 1991 940SE / 960 electrical Green Book TP-31788-1-US show the wiring for LH2.4 in what is essentially a YM 91 960. Unfortunately this greenbook isn't as detailed as the later wiring books, say the 96 book, which shows all the different harnesses.

Right, I have owned several 940 SE models and probably 25 whiteblock 960/V90/S90s. The issue I wanted the OP to be aware of is the harness issue since the LH 2.4 7/9 harness places the EZK on the left side of the body and the EZK on the right side of the body and the two communicate through the dash harness. That is a lot of wiring to sort out and route through a body that is already packed with another harness that is required to run the ABS, headlights, fans etc. This swap is on the level of installing an LSX into the 960. It is not a simple case of just drop in a redblock where the whiteblock resides. The 960 ABS and battery are right where the air box and AMM are located on a 940 Turbo. It's going to be a creative challenge.
