Hello Everyone,

Figured I'd start a thread to see what Engine Gaskets people are using these days.
From the research I've done, it seems like you can't get a complete engine gasket kit since they are usually separated (Head/Crankcase).
I found a full kit on RockAuto (AJUSA 50053400) but I'm not sure on their quality.

What other brands have people had good luck with?

I know I will need a OEM oil pump seal, but what else is a must to get in OEM?

We can still get Elring head gasket and bottom end gasket sets, but would suggest using an OE Volvo rear main seal and a Victor-Reinz oil pan gasket instead of the ones with the kits. The Elring bottom end gasket set comes with the multi-piece puzzle lock oil pan gasket and we hate those with a passion.

I've used Elring, Reinz, and Mahle B230 Valve cover gaskets in the last few years, the Mahle one is a little thicker and is the only one that hasn't leaked immediately. I have Elring front seals and they're leaking. I will be changing them to OE Volvo along with the valve cover gasket when I swap the cam next week, I've had it with parts quality recently.

Yep. I will never install another Elring cam or crankshaft seal again. I buy whatever Volvo is selling as their OE seal for the the front of the crank, cam and aux shaft. I also use the Volvo OE rear main seal. The Mahle cam cover seal works well. The original Volvo cam cover seal is my preference, though, I don't know if those are available anymore.
