Can you tell if this hitch is for 240 or 740?

The part number says its for a truck, but the truck hitch doesn't have the curve in it that this one does.

Any body familiar with this?

Looks 240 to me
Definitely not. Take a look in my for sale thread and you will see a 240 hitch has a straight beam and the steel plates that the bolts go through to the body are angled, not parallel to the ground. That is a 7-9 series hitch

This is not a Drawtite. Probably, a Curt. It is a 7-9 series aftermarket hitch. The 7-9 series has 4 attachment bolt holes per side in a staggered pattern. Some hitches only use three of the available holes on one side, 4 on the other.

This is a Drawtite 240 hitch. You can see the bolt pattern for the attachment hardware is quite different. Two small bolts side by side and a much larger single bolt.
