Carlsen Volvo 10th Annual Car Show, Aug. 6, 2011

I'll be there, but because I lost my dad last week I won't be showing up in anything special. But, i'll be there.

I'm trying to talk the wife into going..I'll still be going for sure...I'll be the guy barking at my twin girls "don't touch that car, hands off, what do mean you have to go potty again !!?!!?" :)

debating...boss might want me to take a shop car (I work @ SVS in sac) or I might want to spend some bucks and risk being able to find e85 stations for the 75....

I will be there, hope to meet some of you but it sounds like it's going to be crazy there.

140 is washed and ready to go, me, well, I'm still up. We're meeting at 6am in west sac if anyone wants to join. Check the Sac caravan thread.

Yeah, it's damn early.

We're gonna roll by CJ's in Alameda before heading to Palo Alto.

So who was trailering a sweet beige 240 with R brakes on the 210W just out of Pasadena Friday morning? Passed it on my way to work, looked rad.

Damn Mike, you were there? Didn't even see ya!

Had a blast, saw the usual crew, BS'd for a good part of the day, and even shook hands with the man himself, Irv when he handed me the award for Vintage Modified (thanks to Mark for that one)!

Seeing what Larry got together for this show, next year should be insane! Between being the first West Coast National meet since 2006, plus CJ at the helm, Larry and Mark helping out as well, I can't wait!

What a great event. Congrats to Gary for a well derserved and earned Best of Show Pre 1975 Modified. Great car that shows inovation and detail. Thanks to Larry and the crew. They know how to throw an event. Great to hear that CJ is heading up the next National event. He is the man to do it. Hope to see you all at CJ's event in October. It was a blast last year and should be again.

Great looking.
And the car is nice too.
Oh, she drives it. And she builds it. And she's a nurse. Which is good, because my heart...

That woulda been Kaspar. He trailored his 242 up to the show. See post from jerryc above^^ that's his white 242 w/ R motor and R brakes.
