I just picked up a bone stock (besides one do88 intake hose) 1994 940 turbo with b230ft for $700. Engine is in great working condition and compression tests shows it’s healthy. I wanna make as much power for as little money as possible, and so my plan was to straight pipe, mbc to 1 bar, and tune the chip. Of course the first two are very simple and i don’t need help with those, but i need help with where to even start with the chip tuning. I just need a general summary of what i need to figure out and purchase and what not. Thanks!resized-custom 2.jpg

I bought a $200 emulator, a $50 chip burner, and $500 of dyno time and ended up with a not terrible tune. There's a thread on tuning lh2.4 in the performance section.

Buy a tune from member redblockpowered. Best bang for the buck tune you’ll find.

I recently bought his N/A chips. The EZK seems to work fine but the e-fan commands in the LH tune are all dicked up and he totally stopped responding after 1 email.

Do you know what original .bin file was modified? The earlier 9xx .bins (LH2.4.2) may not have good temperature sensing for good fan control.

I have no idea. That's the kind of troubleshooting I was hoping to work on with RBP.

At this point I'm seriously considering downloading TunerPro and buying a Moates programmer to try and fix it myself

+1 for rbp chips
Idk, I've heard nothing but good things about his chips, but I paid for mine about 2 months ago and have nothing to show for it. I am considering calling my bank to get the funds back. Communication was great, up until the point of actually getting the products I ordered. I've messaged him here, and sent an email on his website, still nothing
