Hello Guest, welcome to the initial stages of our new platform!
You can find some additional information about where we are in the process of migrating the board and setting up our new software here
Thank you for being a part of our community!
i have been running on e85 for about 30k miles now and i love it, uses more fuel but it just is so much better under boost. and as far as the fuel system goes im still running stock pumps, lines and fpr and none of it is showing signs of deterioration. im running on lh2.4 with TLAO chips and 75lb delphi injectors and the car sees alot of abuse and has been know to go over 23psi and the afrs are always dead on
your running out of pump, did you upgrade the wiring to your fuel pump? and with a single whinebro my afrs sat dead at 11.5:1 up to 30psi
and get rid of that 4bar regulator, no point your just gonna fry your fuel pump, i never run more then 2.5bar fprs in my cars. your just gonna run richer in vacuum and its locked out in boost anyway for full rail pressure IIRC
Won't run richer off-boost since it's monitored and controlled by the ECU. As boost goes up pressure goes up as well, to maintain the pressure differential. Most pumps are just fine at 60psi, even the stock stuff. Granted when you're at 30psi, your rail pressure is 90psi with a 4-bar vs. 75psi with a 3 (stock turbo pressure), so the difference really isn't that much. The Walbro's are rated at 110psi anyway at 12v so even 90psi isn't approaching the limits.
65# injectors at 3bar and 18-19psi on the Holset has my AFR's still in the mid-11's on E85 without issue.
No point in testing when I only have choice of one station
There is a point!!! The more ethanol the better, you don't want any gasoline in it to benefit from the fuel.
And it's always good to test what your putting in your Fuel cell.
One day I tested some and it was E90!!! The next day the staion where I get it at got a new batch, so I tested it and it was E78!!! $hit at this point I rather run 100% ethanol free gasoline. If it's E85 or better I'll run it if not it's not worth my time and money. Ethanol fuel is like a weekend fuel for me, it gets expensive to run this stuff errr day.
Gotta do a little math to figure out where your fuel system is at.
4x65# injectors need what kind of supply to keep them fed? Stock pump is 130lph, divide that by 4 equals 32.5lph per injector.
130lph = 2166cc/m from the stock pump.
65# x 10.5 = 682cc/minute x 4 = 2728cc/m required at 100%, 2318cc/m @ 85%, 2182cc/m @ 80%.

you don't now $hit. You don't want any gas in it? All ethanol has gas in it. Winter blend is up to 30% gas. Normal e85 here is 79/21 you will still get the anti knock benifits even w gas in it. This isn't a weekend fuel its a daily fuel. How does it get expensive? For me its a dollar cheaper per gal.
Dif times of the year they put out Dif blends. Summer fall and winter. Something to do w how e85 stores in cold vs hot weather. So really your going to get Dif mixtures quite often.
Buy one and figure it out. What are the dimensions of the test tube and the increments of the lines. I have some plastic tubes laying around that I could mark and use as a tester. No sense in paying 20 dollars for a tube w some lines on it.
you don't now $hit.

How are you pulling off 18 psi on the same fuel settup as me when I go lean at that psi. Mybe your using a Dif blend of ethano w more gas in it.
You are on the stock pumps right?
Will you be at Carlisle next year?
Because Im going to kick your ass with this
