Daddy, the $400 Rallycross 245

That terrian looks like an absolute bitch. Wheels look sweet and i love the matching union suit. 10/10

Did you remove the strut tower to firewall braces or were you running one strut tower to tower?

I've noticed that in pictures of folkrace cars they run a hose directly from the breather box to an old oil jug. Looks like Group A cars ran the vented valve cover and breather box, but just two hoses to a regular washer fluid bottle. I've been meaning to do something similar, I have oil all in my accordion tube now that my breather box is breathing.

Wow imagine having someone take pictures of your car.

Firewall braces are still on daddy, mrak had a tower to tower brace on his car.

I see now. They’re matching cars.
It was very fun seeing how different they felt. Both ‘83 245s.
Mine:
B23, k cam, carb, breakerless w/msd box, locker, no belt on PS pump, stripped interior, wrx seats, sloppy m45, billy HDs, stock cut springs, stock sways, GT braces
His:
B230, t cam, LH2.2, ezk, factory lsd, power steering, most interior, NRG driver seat, decent m46, billy HDs, stock cut springs, ipd sways (front removed)

The cars felt verrrrry different.

As someone setting up a shitty 240, I demand you elaborate. Y'all both still got the school bus steering wheel?

I love the colors, so sad I got saddled with maroon.

We both have the smaller stock wheels.

Stripes add like 3hp per color, so you better figure out a livery if you want to be competitive.

I feel like my giant steering wheel just makes the already awful steering worse.

How do you like just a big rear sway?

I was thinking gold with a keith haring motif.

I have no problem using the bully pulpit.

I intend to remove the big rear sway for front and rear skinny NA stock sways. It was fine on the slop because I was mostly concerned about inducing oversteer for the tighter corners. But on the sections where you cross over the ruts you could feel the stiffness in a negative way.

Legitimately the stripes on these cars is the best thing about both of them. People love how they look. My wife did both and both are excellent in their own way. Next year I might add a bigger blue stripe on the bottom of the other three.

This isn't even your thread.

There appears to be 4 rallyx diguses on the forum. Might as well be one big thread with a dumb name. Hopefully Mikep doesn’t see this.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I am mostly interested in inducing oversteer.

The stripes, on my phone at least, look pro as fuck. We’ll done mrak’s wife.

I request to know more about how the k and t cams feel in this setting.
K cam is nice on the faster layout last summer. T cam much better for the shorter slower course. andy's car has absolutely nothing down low but that also has to do with carb tuning (or lack thereof). the T runs out of steam very hard at like 4500rpm.

if you're sticking with the automatic, i'd go T cam out of the two.

How fast do y’all run? I think 40 is the top speed I’ve hit
