Those oil temp gauges were most often seen in the V6 B28F and B280F 760 and 780 cars I believe. They do exist.... what I am not able to remember for certain is if they are intended to install in the upper left of the gauge cluster (like the voltmeter does) or the upper right (in place of boost gauge).
That is interesting to hear reports from both of you on the noise and refinement of the 5-cylinder not being as quiet or smooth as you had hoped for. I guess this is probably the only advantage the 6-cylinder D24 and D24T still have.....
