distributor replacement

Good evening,

It seems I am posting a lot here today. one of those days. I need a new distribuor for my 89 740T. the bosch option is rediculously expensive and I am wondering if anyone has used any other brands and if they would recommend them. thanks.

I've been running the Rockauto standard motor products one for a couple years now on my 740 and had no issues.

im thinking about going with an 'skp' distributor I found on rock auto. would you recommend this?

Is your current distributor bad? You can replace the rubber seals on it if there's oil leaking

Yes it is bad. The ignition pick up sensor is all broken and unfixable. I am needing a whole new assembly.

I purchased the skp distributor off of rock auto. hopefully it wil work for at least a couple miles

So far so good. Only 400 miles in lol
