Hey guys, i just bought my first 240 last week and it has some issues. i have a 1992 245 and both the driver door and drivers side rear door don’t open from the outside. i’ve tried lubing everything and adjusting the little cylinder on the rod but it still won’t budge. they both open from the inside just fine. any help would be appreciated

Door handle not opening from the outside

Have you looked to see if the outside door handle mechanism is all connected on the inside? Could be one of the pins slipped out. Or try taking it apart in case something seized? Iirc there are videos on yt on how to remove door handles. If not, it's simple to figure out.
thank you so much, it was one of the pins, i replaced it with a bolt and nut and it’s working perfectly now
