Exhaust flange dimensions

Does anyone have an accurate model/drawing/dimensions of the exhaust flange? I found a .zip folder with a ton of drawings, but I don't think they're correct. For example, the port width is based on a 1.425"(36.2 mm) square, but when measuring an exhaust manifold gasket, I found the port to be 1.53" (38.8 mm) square-ish.

I'm increasing the port size to account for the new pipe wall thickness, printing it and cutting a cardboard template to test tonight. That'll be the only way I'm confident short of actually making one.

Just printed and tested the drawing. It is not correct; doesn't even match the gasket. So don't use the files in that .zip folder that went around here.

Try fitting the gasket on the other side of the paper and upside down ..

Or else cut the paper, open holes and try finding the correct way to test it on the manifold or head. If we are talking about the same file, i thought it was wrong as well but when i test fitted it on the head it was spot on ..

As far as i remember the port connections go up so you have 2 ways to test the cut paper !

I think those gaskets only fit in a certain orientation. Try what ^^ said.

You guys are definitely right. The gaskets only fit a specific way, and it's always annoying for me to find out which way that is. However, I did orient the drawing in such a way that it replicates the engine orientation itself, so the gaskets shouldn't be placed on the back of the paper.

In any case, I tested it on front and back, and they don't line up. The stud holes are just too close together, and misaligned to the port.

I just ordered a mild steel flange from Josh. It's cheaper than stainless, and less likely to warp.

So don't trust the 8v drawing from the savaturbo forum.

I don't have the measurements for the whole flange, but i do have them for an individual one:

And this is how it fits:

Hey Guys!

My first post here, awesome comunity!!
I'd like to make my manifold anytime soon and was wondering if anybody made a DXF file of the exhaust flange already, did someone already make a "1-Piece" flange already? id prefer this when welding the Turbo manifold. Or does somebody have the spacing inbetween cylinders? so i could use @wagner's design as a Template.

Thanks in advance!

A friend of mine made a cnc 8v flange for my turbo manifold. It was really thick and nicely blended the square exhaust port to round tube to make welding easier. Not sure if I can put an Instagram image here but I'll try to link it below. They are sold out at the moment but I could try to get them to make a few more if people are interested.

Put me down as interested if another round gets made. Very nice looking.

I cut 5 from what looks to be that same DXF, they fit perfectly, I used one to make my turbo manifold. The gasket in the picture is the wrong way round (and not even close to lined up with the bolt holes lol)
