On thoughts on the mounts offered by VP?
Hello Guest, welcome to the initial stages of our new platform!
You can find some additional information about where we are in the process of migrating the board and setting up our new software here
Thank you for being a part of our community!
You can only really make audible sloshing happen if there's an air bubble in the liquid. Maybe these new ones are 100% full?Ok so I’m emailing with some people at sigma and they’re going to be speaking with the engineering department to see what’s up. I explained that on the earlier runs you could clearly hear liquid sloshing around whereas the “new” version you can’t. I’ll keep the post updated when I hear back from them but so far they seem to be very responsive. If they give a decent explanation, I figure it might be worth asking for them to export more as many of us are driving around on blown out mounts and could use good mounts.
On a side note: is it possible for motor mounts to still be hydraulic even if you can’t hear liquid sloshing around?

Would you be willing to test out the new versions to see if they are in fact stiffer rather than just completely filled with oil?True. If that is the case, would it lessen its damping ability if it’s 100% full?

I have 4, I could mail you one if you felt so inclinedI only have one of the new style.
The issue with current 7/9 engine mount offerings isn't durability or reliability, but dampening. For a daily driver/road tripper, most stuff is way too harsh.
If these prove reliable, we should circle the 7/9 wagons and get a group (large) buy together. Manufacturing loves volume runs.
I WILL have a refined driving experience with my 250k mile tractor motorthis whole time I thought you guys wanted a mount that lasts a long time lol. just drive something newer than 40 years old
